Survey and Mapping Department
(SDSM) in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Labuan is designated
to carry out survey of lot in accordance to the National Land Code (NLC) 1965. SDSM
is responsible to perform the final survey for lot for the preparation of Certified
Plan and issuing of land title.
With the rapid implementation of computerized project
in all SDSM like the Cadastral Database Management System (CDMS) and the District
Offices Automation System (DOAS) in its surveying activity, SDSM has successfully
created the Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) with the digital cadastral lot and
the Certified Plan Image Library (CPIL) with the scanned Certified Plan in TIFF
format. Other than the digital format, these products can also be obtained via all
the SDSM�s counter.
