WORKING VISIT OF DIRECTOR GENERAL OF SURVEY AND MAPPING MALAYSIA TO JUPEM PENANG | 29 SEPTEMBER 2022
GEORGETOWN, September 29 - Working Visit of YBrs. Sr Mohammad Zaki bin Mohd Ghazali, Director General of Survey and Mapping Malaysia to JUPEM Penang was held this morning at KOMTAR Building with a warm welcome by Sr Zulkafli bin Chihat, Director of Survey and Mapping Penang together with officers and staff of JUPEM Penang. Also present at this work visit session are YBrs. Sr Hazri bin Hassan, Deputy Director General of Surveying and Mapping I, YBrs. Sr Looi Kam Seng, Sectional Survey Director (Cadastre Legislation) - SME and Sr Mohamad Azmar bin Che Mat, Sectional Survey Director (Planning and Corporate).
KPUP visit is to take a closer look at the management, achievements of SKT and activities at JUPEM Penang.
On the same occasion, the Penang JUPEM also presented 4 Reports on the Production of New Proposals/Improvements Related to Surveying, Mapping and Geospatial (KIK3) to the KPUP delegation. Among the projects that have been presented is the Application of Geographical Information System (GIS) in the Mapping of Zones for the 15th General Election (Pru-15) of the P050 Jelutong Parliament: Phase I – Dun N30 Sungai Pinang by Sr. Noraidah Binti Keling, Presentation on Determining Voting Areas for Automatic Voter Using GIS Method by Sr. Mohd Redzuan Abd Rahim and Sr. Wan Faizal Bin Wan Mohamed.
Next is the presentation of the Geospatial Information System for the Preliminary Planning of Survey Application Registration (PU) and Survey of Field Survey Work by Sr. Adam Musli B Che Sulaiman and the presentation of Identifying the Building Acknowledgment Plan Number (PA(B)) Using the Address of the Owner of a Stratified Scheme by Sr. Nur Liyana Othman's daughter. YBrs. KPUP is very satisfied with the presentation of the report and has recommended that the projects continue and seek cooperation with relevant agencies.
In addition, YBrs. The KPUP also delivered his speech and mandate to the Penang JUPEM officers by emphasizing some of the main focuses of the Department Management in ensuring that the officers always carry out their duties efficiently and brilliantly. YBrs. KPUP has also stated that one of the main focuses is the element of improvement in every matter, especially involving work procedures and Geospatial applications so that it can benefit JUPEM employees and also the public outside.
At the end of the working visit session, the Penang JUPEM team presented souvenirs to YBrs. KPUP and delegation as a memento.
