Working Visit by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to JUPEM
KUALA LUMPUR, April, 9 - Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA), YB Dato’ Dr. Shamsul Anuar bin Hj. Nasarah had a working visit to Defence Geospatial Division (BGSP), Depertment of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (JUPEM).
His presence was welcomed by Director General of Survey and Mapping Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Sr Dr. Azhari bin Mohamed; Director of BGSP, Brig. Jen. Hj. Zakaria bin Abdul Rahman; Director of Survey (Planning and Corporate Division), Sr Tsalimy bin Abdullah and few senior officers of JUPEM.
BGSP had also conducted a presentation of dashboard application (WebGIS) to help the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the National Security Council (MKN) obtain detailed information on COVID-19.
During the working visit, Minister of KeTSA also received donations of RM145,000 for the COVID-19 Fund from agencies related to JUPEM such as Land Surveyors Board Malaysia (LJT), Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia (PEJUTA), Geomatic and Land Survey Division of Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Koperasi Jurukur Tanah Berlesen Berhad (KOJUTA), Koperasi Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia Berhad (KOJUPEM), Yayasan Kebajikan Jurukur Tanah Berdaftar, Geospatial Sciences & Technology College (GSTC) and Majlis Sukan JUPEM.
