Working Visit by Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to JUPEM
KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 - Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA), YB Ali anak Biju undertook his first working visit to Depertment of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (JUPEM) today.
His presence was welcomed by Director General of Survey and Mapping Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Sr Dr. Azhari bin Mohamed; Deputy Director General of Survey and Mapping II, YBrs. Sr Sohaime bin Hj. Rasidi; Senior Under Secretary (Land, Mapping and Geospatial) of KeTSA, YBrs. Mohd ‘Ashraf bin Mohd Noor; Deputy Director of Defence Geospatial Division, Kol. Sr Muhamad Nadzir bin Mat Isin; Director of Survey (Planning and Corporate Division), Sr Tsalimy bin Abdullah and few senior officers of JUPEM.
A short briefing of department’s roles and responsibilities was conducted by YBrs. Sr Sohaime bin Hj. Rasidi and followed by a presentation of dashboard application (WebGIS) by Lt. Kol. Norazlin binti Pamuji, Defence Geospatial Division which have helped the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the National Security Council (MKN) to obtain detailed information on COVID-19.
